Conducted internal investigation into suspicious charges made by supervisor with a company credit card. Supervisor reported the investigation to the State Department of Labor as alleged retaliatory conduct, as the supervisor had been a whistleblower. McKay Chadwell completed a vigorous internal investigation into the charges made by the supervisor, the results of which were shared with the Department of Labor. As a result of the McKay Chadwell investigation, which highlighted the supervisor’s failure to cooperate and failure to corroborate the suspicious charges, the complaint with the Department of Labor was abandoned and the employee resigned.
