McKay Chadwell litigates employment disputes, including the defense of a regional corporate entity accused of wrongfully terminating a manager in violation of a Washington State law that makes it illegal to fire an employee if the firing undermines an established public policy. We resolved the case through constructive mediation. Our firm also has successfully negotiated multiple settlements on behalf of corporations accused of withholding employment wages (RCW 49.52) where the issues included the distinction whether the plaintiff was an employee or independent contractor. In addition, we have represented a Fortune 500 company in an internal investigation and prosecution of employee fraud and bid rigging that led to employee terminations.
